if a person is ok to mention the fact they follow an irrational belief based on no solid facts surly everyone else has the right to disagree with it ?

This is a controversial topic with many clashing views that end up in some members appropriately dealt with corrective actions and threads closed. We'd rather not deal with more mess hence why political and religious threads are snipped immediately.

And self control is another thing we watch out for. Need to control yourself from talking the heated topics or else you'll get in trouble for that, something you'll regret later on.

There should be one heavily moderated thread in which religion could be discussed. It couldn't be discussed in any other thread, and punishment would be severe for people just trying to flame and cause trouble.
