what the hell?? i just noticed that the stars are floating in the basket...wow i am worried if they really work or not...maybe i should return it for something else..

they seem like those bio balls for wet/dry filters that get alot of oxygen from the air..

Jea, Rena didn't spend all the money researching to sell you bio stars that do not work. If you feel they do not work then feel free to toss it in the trash. I thought that was kind of rude on your behalf when Bderick67 tried to help you out by telling you what a scrubby is then you try rattle his nerve. I did not know you did not know what scrubbies are. I figure you would have figured it out by looking at the picture.

Bderick67, thanks for defining what a scrubby is for a newbie. I would've thought he would go look it up by now on www.dictionary.com Add me to the list for not posting in his/her thread as well.

Yes, they do float. Not a problem considering they are in a tray covered by a lid during normal operation.
