managuense without venting can you sex?

the only reason im doubting the first mana is a male cause 1 of my male red texas used to try n breed with it, try to kill everything in the tank but they would be doing the naughty dance, same when i put him her with 1 of my male red terrors. the newest pic of the mana is a female id agree for the same reason. she instantly started shaking her ass at my newest red terror (male) hope i explained this right lol so if both managuenses looking totaly different but both are mating with other male fish that makes 1 of them sexualy confused. could they both be female just different sp?
Ive got a breeding pair of jags 10-12", theres allot of variation in markings and coloration from fish to fish with jags which as you can see causes allot of confusion but I.M.E i would say thats a female with out a doubt. heres a pic of my pair male left, female right, enough said pictures dont lie LOL.

without doubt dude checkout my pair in my last post, as you can see males markings are allot darker with a light purplish background, this IME becomes clear from around 4-5" females have spots all over there body as well but not as dark or as heavy, with a yellowish background, hope this helps buddy
