Thanks guys! Yeah 2 more reasons for giving it a shot. Supposed less aggression and definately smaller size, she'll be the largest fish on introduction to the big tank. Plus at the lfs, she was in really close proximity to some really big cats and snook, so she seems pretty sociable.

Love your choice of mix in your tank. I am building the same type of community right now, and I have a jag in with a bunch of other aggressive cichlids and he is just fine. Aggressive enough to protect himself, but doesn't pick on others. Everybody is getting along so nicely right now. (crossing fingers) :)

Thanks so much! I think combos can work if you have a gameplan ahead of time. Not a guarantee, so much as just ways to better your chances. I have a fondness for the girls;) evidently. I prefer female Festae and Managuense so size and attitude(generally) is working in my favor. At least for now........

I so tried to NOT buy this fish. I actually talked to the guys at the shop for awhile and decided to come back next week to see if she was still there. Sent the pic to my wife, Didn't here anything back, so I figured it wasn't meant to be. Got in the car and as soon as I get on the main drag, she texts me asking If I was going to get the fish. I tell her no. Then I turn left at the light and there goes the lights for the train crossing. So, I'm stopped, watching a train, thinking about the fish and my wife texts back "WHY NOT???". So as if the train wasnt enough..............

I had to go back.......so I did:)

Thanks and thanks for the push lol. She's big on the hang right now, still pretty stressed out but when I go chill by her tank, she comes to check out what I'm doing. I'll get more pics in a few days once she really settles in. She's a very cool fish, with alot of personality

thanks! looking forward to the experience. Always been one of my favorite looking fish and now that I see the personality is there too, I can already tell "Babs" is gonna be a family favorite.
