They aren't very expensive I paid like 6 or 7 bucks a piece for them, but it was the shipping that hurts.

damn dude!! keep us updated. i want to do this so bad. looking for a cheap tank to do this. just keep us updated as much as possible. lol.

I currently have a 5g paludarium and I notice the water gets low FAST. With shallow brackish water I would think that this could wreak havoc on the salinity. I am not totally sure, but I would definitely keep up with water changes and salinity checks in the beginning to make sure nothing changes too fast.

if yyour still looking for a fish to try, try mollies they can be freshwater brackish and saltwater. also they will breed and give your crabs something to eat(the fry)

How long did it take for your Mangroves to have that many leaves ? I got about 15 of them and I'm not very lucky ...
