wolf spiders make fun pets also. especially the big females and only bummer is giving a dang spider a 20 long all to itself

another insect that is fun to keep is a garden spider. toss crickets into their webs often only downside is they need a big cageView attachment 1438852
Weird my family and everyone else I've talked to about this spider say it's a corn spider. Well to be fair, around here we mainly find them in cornfields so that's probably how they got that nickname here.

crickets arent easy to come across and i cant stand the cockroaches we get around here. for some reason they really freak me out. so you can see my problem?

I do,I am not sure of your location but here there are quite a few vendors online who sell and ship large quantities of live crickets.

man im not sure live crickets would survive the journey form america to sri lanka

Are there petsmart/petcos there, or any reptile shops? Those would probably have crickets.

we dont have many pet places and the ones we have do pretty much cat dog and cockatiel

Probably wouldn't but you might be able to find someone out in or closer to your area who deals in them who may ship them to you.
