I just got a pair a couple wks back about the same size. I have been feed frozen blood worms but I have yet to see them eat. They stay pretty hidden.

Why yes I do have some pics of my own! The tank is a 20 gallon quarantine tank, with black gravel and a black background, there is a terra cotta pot in there as well. They will soon be going into 75 with my growouts and then a 1200 gallon poond (thats a pool-pond)
Very nice! I rescued a 19-20"er and love him... but I can't get him to eat like a big cat should... still worrying me. But they are great cats, I searched for one for about a year before I found mine
I've offered Feeders of all sizes, silversides, sinking hikari cichlid pellets, floating hikari cichlid pellets, sinking shrimp pellets.... The people I got him from gave me all the food they had been feeding, and they had owned the fish for about two years and it had grown considerably in that time so I know it was eatting. I don't understand why its not eatting... only thing I havn't tried yet are market shrimp
