Thanks, yea not sure if im going to keep the cichlid yet but at least I can put tankmates in the females tank cant put any with my male.

You posted a vid of the female going after the apure catfish. I don't see it in the vid. Maybe that's a different set up.

Apure cat is in the vid right in the front of the tank behind the goby , that's why I had no idea what you were talking about.

The old guy tried to bite me today and he was serious. First time he's done that without fry in the tank. Grumpy old guy syndrome i guess lol.
