Good question... I think it depends on quality. I bet everyone would enjoy cheap high quality Marbles but given the price that the nice ones are it doesn't make sense to sell pups for the average price especially when the parents may have cost 5 fold what "average" price is. Nice Marbles can easily be entry level black ray money. Stinks it has to be that way but it seems that's just the way she goes.

i had 2 female marbles and 1 proven male marble in my pond with a leo tiger and mantilla and 5 bigass silver aros for about 6 months and got no action.i got my hands on another mature male marble and decided to take everything out except the marbles.so now i just have 2 male marbles and 2 female marbles and totally different ballgame.they seem so happy and the females were immediately chewed up and now lookin real thick so well see.im adding another female marble to the group next week.so from what i gather marbles like simplicity and theyre own kind to hopefully breed.but im no expert.i will say this marbles are by far the best bang for the buck.i would guess a cb marble would fetch around $300-$400 but if leo pups go for $1k marbles should be close to that in my opinion.

Doing well. She's swelling up. Too early to tell if she is indeed prego, thanks to the fact she's in a pond that makes it really tough to tell... She'll be doing much better once I get the non Marble ogre ladies("Mantilla" and Jag) sold. Then the Marbles will be able to eat without being cloaked, bitten, and their food stolen. :( I was off on a tangent there for a while with the thought of hybrids but I know now that I need to stay focused on the Marbles. Having issues with the hornbag male pickin on the other males so he might have to go with the non Marble ladies if the lil prick doesn't change his ways.

Hope she is pregnant! If the hornbag male is the one I had, I had nothing to due with his behavior.

Liar! It is your fault! You housed them together! Look @ your avatar! Any Marble male brought up with her would act the same... :)

My Marble gave birth to one very healthy male pup on Feb.18th! I started him on chopped-up trout worms two days later...downing between 3-4 worms a day as of today.I will try to get some pics up by the weekend.
