MARBLE MOTORO WITH WART LIKE BUMPS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would be concerned about the small brown squiggly worms. I have the white planaria worms in one of my tanks but I had a flower in a 75 gallon and I fed some feeder fish to a pbass in the tank. The ray ate some as well. Two days later I had a brown worm outbreak that took my tank over. The flower stopped eating started gasping and then died. Still to this day I have no clue what happened. It came out of the blue.

Try to mix Metro in with the food. You rays have internal parasites

Do you really think it is internal parasites? Just wondering because the bumps or what ever are on the outside of the ray. I have a ray also with bumps like this but there just the same color as his disk. they have been there for 6 months, this thread has made me really nervous now.

I had some goose like bumps on my ray, the skin became ulcerated in one area and tank mates started harrassing him. I sectioned off the tank with egg crate, added salt and increase water changes. It healed with some scarring. Although my water parameters tested OK - I think it was secondary to overcowding and insufficient water changes. My 2 cents

WELL, I LOST THREE RAYS SO FAR. DOING MAD WC AND PUT SALT IN THE WATER AT 88 DEGREES. DIVIDED THE ONES THAT ARE EATING FROM THE OTHERS. ONLY FEEDING CRAWLERS AND SHRIMP. I DID PUT SOME BLACKWORMS IN AND GHOST SHRIMP BUT ONLY AFTER THEY STOPPED EATING. TONS OF LITTLE WHITE BUGS LOOK LIKE FLEAS IN THE WATER, AND BROWN WORMS. COULD THEY COME FROM FOOD? I DONT KNOW. FREAK THING THATS FOR SURE. I GUESS ITS AN EXPENSIVE LEARNING EXP.

Sorry for the loss, those were nice MM's too.:(
