My two guys are the best of buds... hard to see one without the other one peeking around from behind... only in the 8-10" range but still...

yeah, i know what you mean. hard to see one without another one indeed. mines were well over foot as seen by the tiles besides the box during transportation. ... still not quite enough to protect one of them from RTC

the remaining pim does not usually stay on the the ground but sticks to the stone wall... quite a good blend-in... some people even commented that he is pleco rather than a catfish (yes, i know plecos are cats too) THAT'S WHAT I CALL ADAPTATION for survival

As i said before, i will drain the bioball section later on to see if he is in there - i kinda doubt it though

Sorry for the loss, if he is lost. The other one looks great and killer sump.

Thanxxx - gonna clean the bioball section soon

The tiles are 40cm this means that the little fella is well over foot long now. the long barbels have grown back - even this little fella made (unlike those wussy arapaimas) through the cold spell - though admittedly i added the heater during the final stages of the cold spell.

Can you spot him in the last two pix. I guess this is why he is alive to date though how he jumped back from the sump into the main set-up is still a mystery to me - no matter, he is alive and growing. No one to fight for crickets from him. RTCs do not touch crickets. Only one gar sort of take them - the rest is for the little pim

nice to see one made it, still showing nice color too. sucks if the other one didnt make it, but you keep some you lose some.

Yeah, the pim likes to hangout on the wall ... like a pleco actually. i think it is the reason it is still alive and growing. If it were hanging out on the floor, it would be RTC meal for sure ^^

Only strong/resourcefull adapt and survive. This is one of the reason i got two at the begining
