Marble Pim Journey ... to their doom?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
u need something to stir up the bottom more dude. and maybe an algae eater of some kind.
fei feng maybe.

Pleco is not an option - had that before and it was a disaster for RTCs and gars. Fei feng i quite like EXCEPT i have never seen one for sale over here AND it will be killed off hand for being silver colored fish. I tried pacus many times - all were killed (not eaten) ... look at it more positively, the algae covered bottom is like an extra filtration ^^

Try black pacus : )

I have confirmation from home that a marble pim was spotted in the sump of the big aquarium together with the pacus . Don't know how much they have grown

How they have stayed hidden is beyond me - cos i drained part of the sump last time looking for him (pix on the previous page). Will need to find a way to get the marble pim (and pacus) out of the sump - cos they might have been starving for awhile ....

the other marble pim has staked his territory and much large RTCs no longer bother him - he fights for food with them. He is approaching two feet now

First good news for fish keeping for me this year ^^

whats with the extra P?

any way i broke my leg so its hard getting downstairs to the fish room. so my parents were feeding my fish and knocked the tube off the pump, then the 15" pike died and the RTC broke the heater. so i get down there 4 DAYS LATER(cause thats when they decided to tell me) and setup the pond for them. new heater, filter and all. but sadly they didnt make it through the night.

Oops... I thought it looked wrong when I typed it....
I was just copying Bass's Spelling!
(Bass you always get me in trouble! haha!)

Thats really too bad though. I had a friend taking care of my fish, with a very similar circumstance. Lost my TSN, Three large Oscars and Jag all at once. It's never fun
