Marbled Motoro Color

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Really like Silent Bobs substrate in the see you marbles thread. What n where? Will get this asap

Can anyone save me hours of reading and point me either to the correct thread or a product that will give me this natural brownish look for my rays. I wants to stay away from home depot play sand, things that need wild amounts of rinsing etc.. thanks

I love my light sand / some people call fine rock substrait. It's caribsea Torpedo beach. Great product. Nice thing is it never sticks to the rays. My Leo gets a bit on him because he always blows in the sand saying feed me more.

What I had in that tank was home depot play sand. I liked it at first but it traps a lot of debris. I know there are others out there using a tan sand and would love to hear what they are using. I have since switched over to a white pool filter sand to see what happens with color on the rays.

Ok. Yea I want to stay away from play sand. Already siphoned out 75% of my tahitian moon sand.... I'm ready people.... lol
What's going to give me that natural look ?

Not sure where you can get mine local to you but it is "coarse Quartz sand" I got it from a landscape supply store for cheap and I think it is perfect.
