Marbled Pim + TSN Hybrid

What did you pay for your marbled pim? My LFS has one that's 16-18" and gorgeous, and wants like $60 for him. Honestly I don't think that's a bad price, but I can't justify that on one fish at the moment.

Also, your other new catfish looks awesome!

I paid 40 dollars for mine when it was only four inches. I don't see them very often in the hobby so I considered it worth every penny. That sounds like a great deal for a huge one.

I have been keeping my eyes open, I looked at the LFS and all they had was TSN and RTCxTSN which I got one today, maybe I can ask if they will special order one for me, what is the full latin name? Thanks.

i originally totally beleived these were all 110% marmoratusXtsn but after so many sources claim wild caught im not sure any more. looking to order one pretty soon.

This fella is about 8". Just started a hunger strike the last 2 days though . I still think that these are farmed hybrids.

Theres no way that these are wild caught as they are hybrids, and there is so many of them just now popping up in the hobby. Most likely farmed down in SA, then imported as "wild caught" to fool the fools.

any updates? mine got right up to the side of the tank and I stuck a ruler to it and it is 9.5" on the nose.
