They could have waited some where else, out side, down the road, whatever, and taken him into custody during day light hours. The only time that 'No Knock' policy should be used is when the person is actually a fugitive, or if person has hostages, etc.

I agree. That's why I said earlier, what happened to old fashioned police work? Stake out the suspect, watch their daily routines. He had just gotten home from work, I'm sure they knew that. Why not take him down as he's getting in/out of his car? This is just a lazy way to do it, and a way to flex their tactical muscles and put all that scenario training to work.

WTF. How's that for a slap in the face:

The police had lost track of the repeated calls for assistance. DC's highest court ruled that the police do not have a legal responsibility to provide personal protection to individuals, and absolved the police and the city of any liability.

Wow...

The court held that official police personnel and the government employing them are not generally liable to victims of criminal acts for a failure to provide adequate police protection.

I'm utterly speechless...just speechless...

And if they do decide to show up and see with you a gun, you'll be gunned down. :wall:

I cant say how much these raids need to stop but I just read the thread but no ONE PERSON mentioned that if the guy didnt do drugs, he'd still be alive.

Its as simple as that.

I don't know what the point is even. I get a fingernail/ chalkboard reaction from even watching those "cops" shows that have become SO POPULAR.

Somebody in this post I think said something about real cops being POS and we need more good TV type cops.

Damn near every episode of every cop show portrays an officer that BLATANTLY lies to the suspect.

Pig: Show me where the dope is and I won't arrest you!
Suspect: OK, here is my baggie!
Pig: On the ground maggot, You are under arrest. You have the right. . . (NOT!)

Hahah yeah thats one cops use alot! Hahah cant say i ever fell for that one! They have tried it but I understand my charter of rights as a canadian.
