MARINE PREY FOR AROWANAS

since it's said that feeder such as gold fish,guppies,ect.,ect are bad for the health of arowanas because of fat that promotes drop eye. would it be healthier to feed them marine bait fish?!!?

dont be suprised if the aro still gets drop eye though. Its also thought to be genetic. If you can get it on prepared foods

marine prey are good, that what i feed, this minimizes the transfer of disease, silver aro have mostly drop eye due to inbreeding and its in their genes

One of my aro's eyes dropped about 6 months ago. What a bummer.

I had fed my aro only freeze dried krill an he got drop eye, so im thinking its more of a genetic thing with them.
