I have 3 250 watt elbo jagers submerged in my sump. Originally when I bought them the web page stated submerable, but once I got them they had a Max Water Line on them, so I called the company. They reported to me to get CSA approval in Canada they needed the water line but they are indeed submersible.

if you read through this thread, it clears up the confusion:

the waterline was a requirement to get CSA approval ONLY and has nothing to do with the heater not being submersible.

so dip your heaters everyone!

Like them both.Never had a problem with either. The Stealth is just a little better at being Pacu proof,if you know what I mean.
