For over a month, all I found were live shrimps and no store ever used the word 'prawn' over here. Heard the difference between a prawn and shrimp was that the former was a little bigger and from freshwater. Shrimps are found in saltwater and prawns in freshwater.
Hilarious, after visiting several T&T Supermarkets I now actually found one shop that labelled it as prawns and the rest were shrimps. Now that I finally found some prawns, here's my question:
Have an HBRTG aro that I brought home last month. It's now only 6 inches, but is it suitable for me to start feeding the live market prawns at that size? So far, it's basically only been eating mealworms as its primary food, with the occasionally frozen bloodworm.
Sure you can. Just remove head, tail, and deshell. You might wanna cut to smaller pieces if the prawn is to big for the aro. Why not feed your aro shrimp since it seems its more avalible in your area compared to shrimp. I feed my aro shrimp.
