One of the tell-tale signs is body shape. Another is color. Collection locale is the most important factor. But we all know when buying from a lfs, it virtually impossible to be able to obtain that kind of info. I just strongly believe they`re venny`s. But definitely keep them...
 
here they are a few months later i think your right they look like vennys to me to now they still follow each other around but display to each other some times and colour change at the same time not sure if a hint of pink on bellys could they both be female any ideas any one thanks ,will 2 female live together or fight,? i spose males will kill each other?. about 7-8 inch now thanks for looking..

Definitely not marms. They look like Vennies or possibly a lugubris race. Regarding sex, I'd have to go with 2 females at this stage but they still have some growing and coloring up to do.
 
would 2s female kill each other or could they co exist?,i think slight pink comes and gos but its very faint and they both do the same colour changing.
