Are you and your spouse best friends?

And i dont mean you were best friends, then became something more.

I mean, you are married AND you're best friends. You prefer spending all your time off with each other.
(you have your guys and girls night outs) But you are most happy when spending time with each other because other than being married, you have the most fun together since you are also best friends.

My brother and sister-in-law said they arent best friends. Or really even friends. They are just married and they love each other as spouses. But they said they each have other people they consider their "best friends".

I have a couple "best friends", but I consider my husband my very best friend as well as my spouse.

So it didnt make sense to me what my brother said about his marriage....

well we're not married yet but my gf and i have been together forever and have lived together for several years. i do consider her my friend and we do a lot together, but we also do things seperately with our own friends. i think its good to have time apart every now and then.

Yes. I feel I can share anything with her and she does not mind my idiosyncrasies or, my fish! Just celebrated our 16th year together! As far as the poll goes, I must abstain. It needs more choices because its not that simple. Although she's my bff, she can't ride a motorcycle or shotgun a beer. The other bff must fill in for her then.

well. yeah. i'm the same way i just consider my husband my best friend. I still go out with the girls.

But I just spend most of my free time with him. Or we'll both go out with other friends together.

When ever I go off and do something fun with out my husband, I miss him terrible and just wish I could teleport him to the scene to enjoy it with me. He is my best friend.

I recently had an opportunity to get up on to the roof of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. I was up there just at dusk, the leaves in Central Park were gorgeous, the city lights were all shining, it was a clear and beautiful night.... but my husband wasn't with me. I took some great pictures, honestly just wished he could have been there too. Pictures weren't the same.

She can't, or she doesn't want to? I put 20,000 miles a year on my motorcycle and have now for 5 years straight. My husband is lucky to get 16,000 in. He has never once ridden as many miles as I do in a year. He calls it bragging rights, but then again, so do I.

yeah see. thats what i mean. If you were to label a "Best friend" it would be her.

Thats why its hard for me to understand what my brother is saying... I cant imagine my husband NOT being my best friend.. you know?
