Although she's my bff, she can't ride a motorcycle or shotgun a beer. The other bff must fill in for her then.

I see what you're saying.

I have a best GIRL friend. And I share ALMOST everything with her.....
But even when i'm just with her.. i miss him.

Plain and simple, "I trust her." That's what it's really all about. That's what it boils down to. Trust is only developed over time.

I can't really vote, because none of them apply to me right now, but if they did, I think I would want it to be a mixture of one and two. I would love to have that person be like my best friend to where it didn't matter whether we were sitting home watching tv, hanging out together with friends, or traveling the world - I could always have fun with them, and make awesome memories. But I think it's important that couples have their own personal time too, and time with their separate friends. I know that when I am in a relationship, the time I spend with my partner is gold, but that doesn't mean I don't need time to just chill alone, or connect with my other friends. And the same goes from them. I think it's all about balance, and depends on the couple really. Some people love to be joined at the hip, and other's don't, so I suppose "to each their own"?

I dunno, maybe when I leave the single life and have more to report on, or that one guy finds me... then my answer might change, lol. Who knows.

Man, sorry bout yer luck Westie -mine could ride a motorcycle if not for the bum knee, and she can down a brew faster than me if she wanted to! Regardless she is the only person in the world I consider a true friend. Never let me down, always around to pick me up, brush me off, slap my back and get me back on the road. No one else I know would put up with me like she does and come back for more!

My husband and I consider each other best friends (he's said so, I'm not putting words in his mouth!) and a lot of that is because we've been together longer than we've known most of our friends.

totally my hubby is my best friend.. my best everything.. and when i say this i don't want it to sound like a fantasy... we each have our faults and our bad days or bad moments.. but our life is with each other and we never leave each other unless it is nessasary.. and no one wants to go with out the other.....

My wife and I are BFF's. We are high school sweethearts:naughty:
This November 19 it will be 10yrs since the boyfriend-girlfriend thing and 8yrs married in Jan:headbang2

We still make time and go on dates:hearts:

But yeah, my wife is my buddy:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2 (she even goes fish shopping with me at midnight sometimes:naughty:, I got a winner:woot:)

I can't really vote as my gf and I aren't married yet, we will be next October...But I consider her my best friend, if we aren't at work we are together, we do everything together...she even helps or watches me clean my tanks! She is the best part of me...Although we still do take time occasionally to reconnect with friends, but most of our friends are married already so we just go and hang out as couples. She has become good friends with my "best friend's" wife. So it works out great!
