Massive African Tank Species Choices?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that tank would be enough room for the fish i mentioned to co-exist so they will grow and be hunted and reproduce like in the wild

Don't waste a big tank, use it to breed something that's hard to breed in a small tank.

Get some Syno. granulosus. These are Tang catfish that need a big tank to breed. They've recently been bred by aquarist who are keeping the method a secret ... it was in a big tank, not nearly as big as yours though. The frys will be worth a good chunk of change.

Some Cyphotilapia gibberosa (Mpimbwe) would be cool to fill out the tank. Don't mix tropheus with fronts, tropheus are too hyper and will upset fronts.

Best of luck!

that is a good idea try breeding something rare! maybe something where the fry are worth a lot!

At this point I don't see this tank doing nothing. Think he's starting to pull our chains. Get the fish already.
