I just agreed to let her and the twins have absolute power and control over the entire house and yard and a portion of the gargage in exchange for half of the basement where I daily configure and recalculate how to fit in more and more tanks.
I recently got to set up 2 tanks (65g each) in each of the kids bedrooms. Explained it would be educational and help them learn responsibilities, conservation and respect for wildlife, etc, etc.

that's my plan too when my son gets a little older. as soon as he starts to say "fishy fishy" I'll try to talk my wife into maybe a 180g
