haha yeh a bit. massivore pellets have an extremely strong scent which is why ure fish love it SO MUCH!!!! id rather get my fish on meat from the marker or sumthing..much cheaper in the long run. gd luck!

haha ill try to get them on meat or something and once in a blue moon i put some massivore pellets in..thanks

yes, even one pellet of uneaten massivore will make your tank smell rancid.

The trick is to cut back next feeding, and until you measure how much they will eat in one meal.

I've had to get up in the middle of the night to do a water change because the bichirs didn't finish the massivore :yuck:

why did you post this in the media lounge? lol

haha i really dont know why i posted in media lounge..but ya it made it smell so bad i also had to do a water change cause it smelt so bad..but they love it.. but im going back to large earthworms, feeder guppies and bloodworms

It's like having a friend rip one in your room, but instead of it dissipating in a few minutes, it takes hours.

And I was thinking of training my fish to take pellets through massivore....

Tank is in my bedroom by the way.

so it smells a bit,it goes away in a few hours. What a bunch of Mary's,j/k.

LOL  Seriously, open the window and it goes away. I have my tank in the house, and, after I feed, we can smell it through the entire place. But, I'd rather have a bunch of really healthy, happy fish. Besides, it's not that bad. That is until a pellet gets wet and rots between the glass lid and edge. Ewww... that was pretty bad, but not typical.
