massivores are the best!
my bichirs, i have 4 dels
1 albino senegalus
1 17 inch ornate
2 palmas polli
just waiting on the nromal senegalus to come up and i will have the whole set available in my country:D

i feed at night when lights out, maybe a shotglass or one and a half shotglass of massivores, they love them
and get big and fat ont hem too!

i dont mind the smell. its in my hgarage
Id trade my endli for your water though. Lol 20 ppm nitrate from the tap here and it maxes out the hardness test :(

Yeah it makes my tank smell too.. Small feedings and frequent water changes are in order.. But my albino shortbody sen has been growing steadily on them! Just a question: would gouramis, angelfish, ropefish and oscars eat them too? Will they get nice and big too? Cos I have 1 of each in a 4ft tank with my sen along with feeder shrimp. Will they like massivore as well? Thanks..

How about trying this.

Take the time to drop pellets in as your fish eat them and making sure you don't put more in that they eat. Problem solved!!

I try to make sure that when I do my tanks I only put in what they can eat, on some of my tanks I try to make it so that no food hits the bottom. I also switched all my tanks to sand no more gravel or bare bottom.

Since it was brought up.... Whats the cheapest price you guys have found online for the Massivore pellets?

$50 shipped for 2.2 pounds is what I found, I got them a while back from a member. I just feed a few at a time and make sure they are eating them. I like to watch my polys eat anyways, so its all good. They do kind of smell though, once they are wet, which drives my polys crazy trying to find them the smell is all over the tank. haha

I'm glad I found this thread. I started feeding my crays MPs and couldn't figure out what was fowling the water so quickly--I've done three WCs this week alone on that one tank which is also one of two tanks that gets the MPs. Makes perfect sense now. Crays are messy eaters so bits of the pellet get blown around the tank as they eat where they sit until later in the night when they pick them up while sifting thru the gravel. The other tank has a synodontis/loaches/angels and snails so the pellet doesn't stay around to long.
