I got soaked more then I would care to feeding massivore. But then again they do this with everything. I need to get a video of them feeding so you can see how the others just sit back an watch the Pinima eat. It's 2 funny!

I'm not sure exactly when my Mono started eating massivore. He just started doing it. I would always throw it in for some of the other fish in the tank and after a while he started intercepting it. Now he just eats them as I throw them in there 1 at a time. He's probably 11" TL. He started by eating Tetra Jumbo cichlid sticks, then moved to Hikari cichlid gold, now it's just massivore, cooked shrimp, and convicts(sometimes pretty good sized ones).

That's funny, I always got soaked feeding anything floating like the cichlid gold or jumbo sticks. It was a relief to get him on something sinking so some of the water would stay in the tank LOL.

Man consider yourself lucky! My Peruvians just look at the pellets like who you kidding. Now Convict's I have always loved feeding these little guys. I even had a few last for a few motnhs and I had to take them out. I like to feed Jack Demspey's as well. :D

And yes I wish some of the water stayed in the tank! ;)

Well, I have one con that is supposed to live in the same tank as him, and has done so successfully for months and months, but lately I'm waking up to him having scratches on him so one of these days he's going to be gone I imagine. Good thing I have like 300 more...
