i dont know, i just thought a ziplock plastic shiny bag wouldn't be as expensive as NLS which comes in a plastic container. I should start a fish food company. it probably costs less than a dollar to make that whole bag with the food. thats profit right there.
I use both, my fish like both.
I like the results I've had with NLS better.
ie: color,growth,clean.
I luv how dense NLS pellets are.
Only thing I hate about hikari is the smell it leaves.
Having a bunch of tanks in your bedroom is a b*tch if you feed mainly Hikari.
The smell is similar to the smell of a sweaty a hockey bag.
Seems like my fish bulk up a bit more with Hikari.
yeah once i opened that bag it hit me in the face. it was gross. but the NLS i dont mind the smell at all. also yes thats the equivalent, it says on the bag that the feeders that were tested on were 1.8 ounces each or something? so a feeder that size lol
