I do have a empty 55g I could put my male back into. Then put the female in the 75g let her get adjusted and then put the male back in a couple of weeks. Could this be an option and still use the divider.
you could do this but im just saying if they hit it off strait away then there will be no need for a divider.. just incase. if i was u id try to get a 7"+ female this will be harder. the 90G is still better because it has more water XD what filtration u got on the tank, for a pair id go with atleast 2 externals and possibly 1 internal if u have 1crisper;2144358; said:Well he is about 9" now.The slot in the divider does sound like it might work. how u been buddy?not neccesarily have to leave in for good, if the pair actually become a proper pair then the divider shouldnt be neccesaryfishluvr12;2145018; said:75 is too small.Need at least a 125.
You could try the inclomplete divider in the 75,I don't recommend it myself, but I have seen it done. And then You'd have to leave it in for good.

yeh but this is the risk you have to take when breeding fish in this size tank when the fish are like 10"Camphilophus;2146074; said:I've seen a lot of pairs that one day snapped 2 years later.
