My male really bit the tips of the females pelvic fins and some minor disk bites. He left those alone and started biting the end of her tail. She had almost an inch of her tail bitten off before I added the divider.

The male still won't leave the her alone. I still have a divider in the tank to keep them apart.

Looks like normal breeding behavior Brent, Just keep seperating them when it gets to bad. I will start taking some pictures of my females they get so bad I rest them for about a month and then add the males back and same thing happens.

Do the males ever stop this behavior? I'm afraid when I pull the divider out, he will go after her tail again. It's just now healed over. He never bothered her before or while she was pregnant.

she healed up and then soon as i put them back together tears her up opens up the wound on the same spot
in the past once she is preg he leaves her alone but i have also heard they still will bite when there preg anyone seen that??
