angels are aggressive so i wouldnt doubt that ur tetras and danios will atleast get there fins chewed if not killed asfor the cloudyness i have used a product that will get rid of it but i cant think of it off the top of my head check at ur LFS they should have something other than that ur tank looks great!!! congratz i might recomend u put ur plants in now to help speed up the cycling.

So I bought some more plants today, just a couple bush plants that I don't know the name of. I wanted to try and terrace the substrate so that there are a few different levels, but it's proving to be quite difficult since everytime I move the flourite, a huge ploom of dust pops up and clouds the tank to the point where I can barely see 2 inches in front of me. So basically, I just pushed most of it to the back for now so that I can work with it tomorrow once it settles a bit, and then get it all back up there again. Does anyone know why flourite is so messy? THe package even said prewashed and rinsing was only a recommendation (which I did for 1hour). Just seems to be slowing me down. So does anyone have any tips on terracing, or some pics of layouts? I'll have pics up when I'm done. BTW only 1 more day of summer school!

Looks nice so far :)
And with all the crap in the gravel that "shoots out" and makes the water cloudy, just gravel vac the gravel.

Finally aquascaped a little (not final) but I still need to get some more plants and get my driftwood stuffed in there and then get those goldfish out and make a diy co2 generator and yeah, that's about it. Oh and get some nice fish, maybe get that angelfish out, depending on how it takes up with some neons. Still a little cloudy, but I think the plants help make the stuff settle a lot faster. I'm not sure about the names of a lot of the newer plants. All I know that I have are: Anubius nana, Jungle val, echinodorus something, java moss, somethign lutea, and giant amazon swords. Tell me what you think. :D

looks good man

Couldn't wait, so just woke up and took another picture of the clearer water. BTW, adjusting the brightness settings on your camera really helps bring the natural color to the picture. And Deathsting, I wish I could get that thick jungle feeling that your tank has, how's your tank going?
