Im ordering a new 360 gallon tank and they want to use a 1" drain and 3/4" return in the overflow. Whats the most gph I can get through this? I have the same fittings on my 210 now and use 2X 1000gph pumps and its fine. Can I use two mag 18s you think? and get 3600gph through the 1" drain and back up through the 3/4" return?

i use 1.5 inch feeds to my 3000 gph pumps... i would not go smaller

What would you suggest for the return line size?

:iagree:

I use three 1" drains on my tank, the Iwaki pump is rated for about 1100 GPH at the head height I have. If I plug one drain the other two keep up, but just barely. My tank is only 135 gallons, I think you definitely want at least two drains or one 1 1/2" drain for a 360.
