Maximum and minimum tank size for oscars?

Min 75gal, Max Orinoco River!

after my stingrays are gone, i plan to put my future Oscars in the 120 gallon 4ft x 2ft x 2ft tank. im only gonna get 2. so i think even though the tank is only 4 ft i think it will be fine; considering i have good filtration and circulation and the tank is very wide and high.
i will also get a couple large rocks and a few fake plants for the tank when the time comes for the Oscars.

Tank range for one: 40-60
pair: 75 wide-120
trio: 150+
Minimum is with good filtration, max is with basic filter

everyone that has posted on this thread please read this other thread in entirety http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=228389 size doesnt matter anywhere near as much as water quality. you could keep 4 full grown oscars in your 120 no problem, so long as you did daily water changes they would be perfectly happy.
