I believe they are only on the reefbright,could be wrong? So if you have that mdl then yes just a flat head screwdriver, I used a butter knife..

Yes just the reef bright ones has the individual optics. I used a pocket knife.

ohwell I got them but now my glass tops were shipped broken,, so no gotta wait for new ones

This is a 165 with 2 36" beamworks reef lights with the lenses off, plenty bright..

Out of curiosity, what is the length of these with the legs. I have a 72" tank as well and am wondering if 2 36" will sit side by side.
