mbu cohab with pea puffers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In theory it could work but I agree that the pea puffers would harass the mbu.
Pea puffers are bred commercially so them adapting to the water parameters wont be an issue.
Not sure if mbu are I had heard the same thing that they were also bred commercially.
If the peas would let the mbu be they could live quiet happily together the peas could clean up for the mess the mbu makes eating.
The mbu would careless about the pea puffers for the most part especially once it gets bigger. Pretty sure mbus are not piscivores in nature so I dont think it'd see them as food.
If you haven't seen murphy at aquarium coop might be a good watch for you. He lives with a large group of fancy guppies.
But again I'd think the peas will be the aggressors. They attack other fish quiet readily.
