Yeah I agree. Fahaka really needs a 180. Its a true 16" capable fish.
I seen vids of cross river around 16" as well. I'm a member of a couple puffer groups on fb and a few members have true cross rivers.

You could get a nice small group of Schoutedeni puffers for about the minimum cost of a cross river.
As i’ve said several times before, you’ll need a ton of luck and a pocket full of cash to get one (and thats if you’re extremely lucky)...
Basically you’d need to find a store / individual willing to special order one in for you, problem is the fisherman at the source where they are caught often try and rip these people off by passing fahaka’s off as Cross Rivers...
One of the last stores i saw one for sale at, told me they had to wait 4 years before the correct fish was caught and sent over after paying a USD $500 deposit

I wonder who came up with 3ft? I've yet to see a 3 footer wild or otherwise. Still a huge puffer don't get me wrong, but I've always wondered where that came from. Along with the 1k gallon tank deal
28" is close enough. When you actually see it in person thats a huge fish. But alot of different sources say up to 36". Not saying its true or that you need 1000g tank, but that combo would be sweet!
