I am stressed.. He is still not eating. Only thing I can see is a small pimple like thing on his fin and on his back. Still acting fine. Is there some sort of general cure for a mbu I could try?

I hate to but I am seriously concerned. Still no major weight loss but...

The white things might be ick. If it is though I have no clue how to treat a mbu puffer for it. They are too sensitive as far as I know to handle ick medications. Sorry I can't help but i'm sure someone on here who keeps larger puffers could tell you how to treat.

I know it sounds stupid but if your water is ok, his diet is also varied then try to rearrange the tank. Puffers are very smart and will actually grow bored. Maybe try putting in a new ornament. Good luck let me know what happens!!

If possible, post some pics of the "white things" and then some of the fish disease experts on here can give a quick id.
