mbunas are the best dithers for monster tanks

Hey it is nothing special to see, just if you have a huge tank with nasty cichlids like red devils, tiger motos, jaguars, etc.. Cheap mubna are the best dithers. They are too fast to get caught they dont pair up like convicts. They are very very hardy. DO NOT DO HAPS or electric yellows. I am talking stuff like All the zebra types, auratus, KENYI, CHipokae,

Chipokae work best because they are carnivores but the rest all do great with big lfower hornes. My friend has a bunch of africans with his monster midas and seperate tanks with flower horns.

REMEMBER MBUNA only not haps, haps will be killed peaococks, electric blue etc. eventually will be killed. When i worked at big als when a devil or some other nasty central american was big and torturing other fish we just put it in with mbunas and it was fine then. I dont know what it is about mbunas.

Why do you need dithers for those species? I suspect that you mean targets, not dithers.

If you are talking about dovii cichlid you must be nuts to keep them there,,, dovii is a different stage (wolf) he will eventually kill all of them, just a reminder male dovii grows up to 24 inches with k9 teeths i will highly suggest you to take dovii and rd out of that tank and give them a nice spaceous tank,, male rd grows between 13-17 inches and razor sharp teeth, they can do well when they are young i did same as well doing it atm but aggression rate starts to pick up everyday and been giving away my other fishes remember..... keep rd and dovii alone not with other fishes
