I don't know anyone who lifts seriously and uses "clips" on the bar:screwy: . Your form should be good enough to keep the bar level and weight balanced. And unless you can post a video of you putting up 255, I don't believe a word.

You are right on. I remember back when I broke 200lbs. I thought I was a beast. A few years later I was working out with 265lbs. Once you hit your mid to late 20s/30s your body will go into beast mode. As long as you lift that is. I don't really work out with weights any longer, but I could still probably work out with 225lbs and I'm kinda scrawny! My wife has me running and attempting to do the Triathlon thing. As you can tell I'm not in the best of shape. This picture was after the Mercedes Marathon/Half. lol

what he's saying is... once you hit 30, you get old man strength.
i learned this in grade 9, everyone over 30 was strong as hell.
no big deal.

Wow-actually in Highschool and College I worked out real hard and peaked at maybe 225-now I max out at 355.

yea, maybe you're right. I guess I can't say since I stopped shortly after highschool. If i had continued I surely would've maxed over 300.

anyways, congrats to TS, anyone who can bench practically twice your body weight is no joke. you get these big 250 pound dudes benching 300 and they think they're strong. pound for pound they should be doing approx 400 to be as impressive as you. keep it up

I like the term Beast strength better. But yeah old man strength is the same thing. lol

Funny thing is at age 23 I had an awesome body-now I have a beer belly the size of 1000000 beers!! Tell you what though if 35 year old me fought 23 year old me-35 year old would win!! LOL!!

i dont work out... i quit hitting the gym last september. good on you for having the motivation to keep at it!

i weighed 225 and only ever got to 310 bench, 345 swuat and 280 power clean. i can still curl 60lb dumbells easily, but all i do now is run, do pullups, run, some crunches, run some more lol. but i run with flak jacket and sometimes my gas mask, and do pullups with my flak. also fireman carrying people and doing lunges works helps...

mr. marines just comes and shows us all up hey? lol.

isn't mo devlin like HUGE?
