I have a south american lungfish that is about 27 inches long in a 125, she loves to hang out on water wisteria. Wisteria grows well in a least 3 watts per gallon. It grows thick and all my fish love to hide in it. Aponogedon are also nice hardy plants with similar light requirements so are most hybrid lillies.

cool. I will try the wisteria, i love the look of it. i love water lilies too, so maybe someday i'll aford some of those. I figured out that feeding live food is the reason he's been snapping. I never would have thought of that but my friend told me that's why she feeds her python frozen rats, then it all made sense.
My annectens is a real mean mothafokka, 15 inches aggression. He likes to chew at the outlet of the pump and once chew it off. He bit straight trough the vacuum cleaner and attacks me every time i have issues in his home. And eats like a pig to.

My African Lung is about 14 or 15" and was kept with alot of other fish as the people who know me will know then all of a sudden he changed and was hanging off of the paroon, biting off the parrots lips and snapping a TSN's neck near enough, still killed him though! He killed about 6 of my other big fish! They change as they get older i suspect as some other people have stated.

MY Annectens is comming in at 27.5" and his name is Snapper for good reason very voracious feeding habit, eats anything i put in his tank,and eats like i never feed him. Loves to rearrange the aqua scaping on a regular basis and almost never lets me clean alge from the glass. The other annectens i have is named Goliath he is very sedate and never attacks anything,eats slowly,but i never let my guard down while cleaning his home.

i would advise putting lillies in if you can, often they dont even realise that the plant is there
and wisteria eh? i will have to try that, i had java but the severums wreck it, im planning on giving the lung his own tank with so placid, fast surface fish maybe some large silver shark or something?
