Meet my finny friends...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thx. Today is water change day and the usual "poop patrol". Working on the tanks is calming during these difficult times. Tried to get a close up pic with a new size comparison with Brick and Boss but he got TOO close so everything came out fuzzy! I'll try again later.
Yes it very satisfying to " aquascape" and create functioning and astheticly pleasing habitats for the fish.
I am very sorry that you are going through difficult times.

Yeah, tough times for a lot of folks. Meanwhile, more pics up. Here we go! Kong showing off for the camera...then Patch. You can see the orange rays in her fins. She truly has unique color.

Brick is now officially 5". Body height over 2" without fins. A little over 1 inch thick. He's definitely losing that baby face...

In the ruler shot you can see his nose is at 14" and his tail is past the 9". So actually a hair over 5 inches. Future monster? Also, side by side comparisons now with Boss.

I have to get a clear ruler now. Lol! Your fish and tanks are amazing!

Like you said the fish colors really stand out. A lot of color with the sand colors and the vivid fish colors go well with the backgrounds. Show tanks. Nice!

thx...Brick actually had gas this evening but I didn't have my phone on hand...he dropped a log followed by a few air bubbles! Looked like a 'bubbler' Oscar!

Made an interesting discovery. By letting the led strips sit up on their brackets (instead of flush on the glass) you can see a lot more of the backgrounds easily.
