niiiiiiiice....... the stinger gaurd should shed with the stinger but i also heard it could cause fungus.
Very good point if the guard digs into the tail it will cause fungus and infections i personally dont like the idea of them at all. Very nice ray though

I nursed and housed this ray for about a month and treated for wounds, while hotfish was getting her tank ready,,,,,,,,it didn't look like a fungus, it appeared to be burns,, not sure?????but treated as I would for burns or wounds and it was healing and clearing quickly. It took this guy a few days to start eating like a champ then hew was pounding shrimp and crawlers. His spots are so bright yellow in person.
Glad him & J-Lo are doing well for you Hotfish

that is a stunner..... you could always build a pond for it when it out grows the 450.... be alot cheaper than having a tank custom assembled in your apt.... and as far as feedings just feed it how you are and give it a day off from feeding every week....

Thanks Aj>I really love these rays.I can't wait to get more.

carefull jaguar are aggresive ray..nice ray!!!gl

aggressive?really? i never heard that mine is a big baby and lets the smaller rays climb all over him, never saw him get mad at them.

I have never noticed mine to be aggressive either. They are aggressive eaters but when food is not in the tank they mind there own business. There might be some that are aggressive, but each one is different.

my old one was a @$$ i got rid of it soon after i got it.... depends on the fish though
