Nice!!! Thats supremely awesome conditions for getting them to breed! Can't get much better than that! Kudos on the psittacus! They are definitely awesome Crenicichla tank mates, and you will probably even get them to breed! Too cool!

thats exactly what I'am trying to acomplish peanut, they all get along great , so I'm in it for the long haul:D maybe they will get frisky with this low Ph and the market shrimp, silverside, catfish nugget diet that they have;)

Those colors are great. I know mine aren't monsters but I've got 4 crenicichla notophthalmus--1 male to 3 females--and I really enjoy them. These dwarf pikes are only about 5 inches but with great fins and shape to them--they rule my 60 planted. Would like to breed but can't get the ph down low enough for them, although they do get all hot and bothered after water changes. Will keep trying and will put up some pics. Anyone else with some little pikes?

Wow, they dominate that psittacus! Any issues with aggression towards other fish? Or just a random chase?

Loving the red sir, very very nice.
at first there was chasing when I had two parrots but they stopped since I put another one in there , its one happy family lol:headbang2
