my Irwini. Will post more pictures later. I always though he was aggressive and would go after my smaller fish. A mFK member confirmed with me other wise. In the 120 now, was very active when I put him, usually lazy.

I like it now that he is more fun and swims around. I guess it because of the extra room.

The smudges are dried salt water. I dripped some water so the salt dried up in the glass. Will post better pictures tonight.

You add salt to your tank? I dont think the cat can take salt , even small amounts iv'e found to be fatal to some catfish.

^+1 salt can be fatal for catfish unless they are brackish. They have extremely low tolerance.

I dont use Sea salt or salt that really affects salinity of water that much. I use kosher salt. I never had any issues with any of my other catfishes and using salt, I actually think adding some salt is good for your tank, I could be wrong.
If you guys thing its not a good idea, please comment a little more, I'll take different measures than.
A video I took last night. He was really boring in the smaller tank, now he actually moves around often and forges for food instead of waiting for it to be dropped on his face.

Very nice mate,I never bother with salt and mine are fine, well over 12" now.

Cats have low tolerance to any salt thats why when you medicate for ick or any other illness it says use half the dose and same with salt. Most cats have skin and not scales so their immunity to things are low. I wouldnt add any salt unless your dosing as a last resort in a tank with cats in it

THANKS. But is salt going to harm him, its regular salt, not like sea salt or salt to make a brackish environment.
