some people say it works, other people KNOW it doesnt. plus petsmart is a business, theyll tell you what you want to hear to get your money. and most employees at petsmart arent too bright to start off with. but if you really think itll work, go for it. ill be sure to look out for your post in 6 months saying "why did my oscars kill each other?" thoughIlovebrittani;5068320; said:No people on this forum told me itd be okay, and the lady at my petsmart I go to actually knows alot about fish keeping and she has a bunch of fish and tanks saltwater and fresh so she knows whats shes talking about.
exactly my point. gotta love the stubbornness in some people though. ill never forget the guy who told mePaiLum92;5069371; said:Well, all I can say is if you honestly believe that stressing those fish out, and putting them in potential danger is the right thing to do, than by all means, go for it.
, this is what this whole thing reminds me of lol.what do you mean 5 jardinis, a rtc, and 4 pacus wont work in my 150g? the man at my lfs just sold me all those fish and said that i have room for more! youre crazy if you think ill believe you over a man who does this for a living
you cant just get A rope fish. you need a large group of them. i own some myself. you can get them for $11 each at petsolutions.com, thats where i bought mine. in your tank, i wouldnt be too scared to maybe invest $150 on just the ropes to build up a large group. but if you only get one then itll be really stressed out because they are somewhat "schooling". good move taking back the oscar though.Ilovebrittani;5069899; said:Im not my people on here told me that the list I was wanting to get would work great... Ive said that now like twice?? Im taking my O and bala's back here after I go fishing for them... :/ Idk what Im going to get I'm thinking about ordering a rope fish from live aquaria Ive always thought they were pretty sweet, and I should def have room now with taking all these back.
