Gotta be honest guys part of me is reluctant to make the move. Florida is a long way from the family we have in ny. Delaware only being 3 hrs away is easier for family to come and visit. Cold feet i guess

No its clean safe and a decent place but not for us. Too many old people lol not enough kids and younger families. The school system is good but leans too far into a political view that i do not agree with.

Best christmas give ever. House is more than likely sold. Closing in june so what good lfs are there in north florida near st. Augustine

That's exciting about your house! Moving is hard. Although it does suck when you are stuck in a state you don't like. Would you guys consider moving back to NY to be closer to family?

St.Augustine is about 2 hours away from me. St.Augustine obviously supports a substantial tourism industry, and is a beach city. It's a really pleasant place ever time I've visited. The beaches/ houses are beautiful and the attitude seems pretty laid back. Idk what the political leaning or the school systems are like though. Florida has a lot of different vibes. Some cities are college towns, some mainly old people.

I'm not familiar with any of the LFS around there. Just whatever you do, DO NOT go to THE DDP(Damn Dirty Poly store). heh. Other members might know other places. I think kno4te mentioned North Florida Aqua at one point.

Yea. Unfortunately not many lfs that carry interesting stock. Atleast for central fl. Have to order online a lot. Some stores around and can order thru Segrest. Nature of the business.

That’s south Florida and yes can catch them in canals.
