Do they still have that beautiful Yellow color to them? Did you see the spawning occur? How big are they now?

Yes they are still yellow and are about 3.5" TL. Still pretty small.

That's a pretty young spawn then, they must love your tank.

My females were really small when they spawned, probably between 2.5 - 3.5". Males usually end up outgrowing the females by about double the size. After 12 - 18 months the males are usually 6 - 8" depending on the species.

Nice Festivums! I have had my big guy for close to three years now (bought him at about 2"). Somebody identified mine as being most likely mirificus.

Nose-to-tail he is around 8" or a little more - biggest I've ever seen. I had bought two, but one developed a weird tumor on his chest and then croaked at around 6" or so....

Yeah, mine were always in the 5" range before I got them to lay eggs.
