I've got a pair of Mesonauta insignis (?) and M. mirificus (?) as well as a few spare M. insignis (?) in a 180g SA community.
The "insignis" are quite yellow and started spawning at like 4.5" for the male and 3" for the female.
The "mirificus" are spotty and similarly sized. They're from a guy who collected them on a trip to Iquitos, Peru, so I'm fairly certain of the collection location but not the ID.
Both pairs breed constantly - every two weeks... the fry become free swimming and get munched by tankmates. They're great parents but too many hungry mouths!
