Epic!!! I've often wondered about a steel framed tank, seems like a pretty good idea to me, maybe I should start bribing engineer friend to make something a little more than the stand for my 500g....

Steel is where its at lol...my first build was a 650 steel frame lined with polypropelene and epdm liner. Been running for 3 years :)

finished up the front wall today...pretty much done with the construction on it. I have 4 6" gaps in between the 3 windows to fill yet but im trying to complete more bracing on the entire structure before i use up all my 8' lengths of steel...went through alot more today than expected. This front wall is one heavy s.o.b. def gonna need a hand getting it in my basement. Pics of todays work :)

My 1" acrylic windows will bolt right to this frame, there is 4" around the windows for support and adhesion so that leaves 44"x44" for each viewing window. I'm not gonna lie its pretty impressive to see in person, but im already over it, its too small! Should have went 16' long lol
