It does seem to take up a lot of time to be enjoyable. Also, and I don't know if this is just me, but after I don't play for a couple weeks my fingers go stupid and cant play something that was easy last time. Not like riding a bicycle by any means.

I play guitar, bass, METAL MANDOLIN, and uhh drums for any song made ~1950s.
 
I don't understand why anyone would want to spend so much time learning how to play Rock Band or Guitar Hero when they could be using that time to learn to play the real thing. This is me having a lot more fun than I have ever had playing one of those games....

hehe, I love guitar hero. I have pretty bad carpal tunnel or whatever, I played the guitar for a while, but I pawned it and got an ipod. I loved my guitar but my stupid hands wont function. O gawd, i used to get so flustered, the day i kicked my amp i decided it was time to get rid of this stuff b4 i ent up dstroyin it! the guitar is so lil an lite for the game that i can usually get pretty far b4 me hands start doin thier own thing,lol. i used to do some vocal work with a band called scumline, but evry1 was pretty junked out and drama, blah blah blah so yeah i sing for my kids now.

:ROFL:I agree, I tried guitar hero, and its a fun game- but it just can't compare to guitar for me. I'd so much rather play any song on guitar hero on real guitar.

Maybe I'll record a vid tonight if I'm not too lazy
