Love these fish 5 would do great in a 55 and once you get 1 or 2 you like they can stay in the 55 for a long time i'm sure your we'll aware of how fast they grow

Ok cool I would have thought so but just making sure. My male will seldomly get that black blotchy coloration down it's side. The female has it all the time.

same here, I am not one to just go pick up fish when I'm already overstocked but I have never found grammodes for sale locally so I have to this time unless I want to spend big money in the future.

When I sell this 14" johanna I rescued.. Need to make a lot of room fast. Theres a auction in 13 days, and another one in about 4 weeks.

drip acclimating right now.. I got 2 females, and 3 males. One of the females I got was the biggest grammode in the tank which I found odd.

haggled a whole $.99 off of each one, so I got 5 for a even $50 just like I said, pics are uploading as we speak.

Folks keep telling me the biggest are always the males but I have found the opposite too many times, especially with grammodes. Females will turn almost completely black when breeding.
